Living at Victoria House

Victoria House is a detached property of an indeterminate age (the earliest record being 1810). It is of conventional construction, with a slated roof, and walls of rendered brick and stone.  The home is located in a
quiet conservation area close to the beach and shopping areas and is five minutes walk from the transport interchange - railway and bus station, hovercraft and
catamaran port - giving easy public transport access to the rest of the Island and to the mainland.

Accommodation includes two lounges, dining room, twenty one bedrooms (with ensuite
WCs or bathrooms), and three assisted bathrooms fitted with bath hoists.  Twenty
bedrooms are registered as singles plus one room registered for married couples or
friends wanting to share.  Most of the bedrooms enjoy panoramic views over the
gardens and across the Solent. Facilities include a lift, central heating, staff call
system, ramps for wheelchair access, spacious gardens, and private car park.
